Concert Programmes Project

The Concert Programmes Project database resulted from a three-year project that ran from 2004-2007, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and hosted by Cardiff University and the Royal College of Music. It was designed as an online resource to assist music lovers, students and researchers in locating collections of programmes, rather than providing full contents.

Institutional coverage is extensive, including the British Library, the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Bodleian Library, Oxford and the national libraries of Scotland and Ireland, as well as repositories in Aldeburgh, Birmingham, Bradford, Cambridge, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester.

In due course it is hoped to include collections from mainland Europe in the database.
