The Branch is a member of the Heritage Collections Advisory Group and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CILIP that establishes a framework for cooperation to achieve their respective and common goals.
The Branch awards two annual prizes: the C.B. Oldman Award, and the E.T. Bryant Memorial Prize. In addition biennial awards are made in recognition of service excellence by libraries and individuals. Bursaries are made available for attendance at Annual Study Weekends as well as the annual IAML international Congress.
