She works closely with the University Archives which holds around 25 music archives/collections, notably the British Music Collection (formally the BMIC), the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival Archive, the British Dance Band Archive, the Duncan Druce Collection and the Phyllis Tate Archive. She has also curated exhibitions for the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival at the Huddersfield Art Gallery and has been involved in the publication of CDs with the Centre for Research in new Music (CeReNeM) at the University. She was recently Membership Secretary for IAML (UK & Irl) and has also served on the Events and Training committee and has served as an elected member of the Executive committee. She believes passionately about retaining music collections in libraries and supported the move of the scores from the Wakefield Music & Drama collection to Fresh Horizons in Huddersfield before it found a permanent home with Leeds Public Libraries music collections.
