Cambridge Buses, Congress Registration

Over on Facebook, there are questions! (Congress delegates might like to follow the IAML23 Cambridge FB page.)

QUESTION:- Is there a recommendation for public transport in Cambridge? Are there special tickets?

ANSWER:- Look out for the Universal bus too which runs between the station, West Road (where the Congress site, Gonville and Caius accomodation and the University Library are based) and Eddington, stopping near Churchill (more accommodation) en route.

FURTHER INFO:- Bus fares should be pegged at £2 and you should be able to buy a weekly ticket. But you won’t need to use public transport much, as the city centre is small; you can walk everywhere. From the centre to the railway station is about a 20/25 minute walk but you can hop on a bus – number 1, 3 or 7. They leave from Emmanuel Street. Tickets cost £2.

QUESTION:- Where should one register for Congress?

ANSWER:- Crucial info! Registration for IAML 2023 will either be in the foyer or in the Pendlebury Library of Music (go straight through the foyer and through the glass doors).
