Annual Study Weekend (ASW 2026) 24-26 April in Cardiff

The draft programme is available here and will be updated as further information becomes available.

The booking form for ASW 2026 is now live.

Be the first to take advantage of our limited time early bird offer, which expires on Friday 13th February.

All bookings close on Thursday 12th March at 5pm.

With a theme of Science in Music, you can expect a range of talks and resonating experiences exploring landscapes, health, and socio-historical ways of understanding musical impacts. From our musical mechanics to engaging new audiences with tech, we hope to have something for all, including heated debates around cataloguing practicalities. And that’s not to mention the tours of collections and libraries in Cardiff that we have planned – this in-person ASW should not be missed.

Have an idea and want to be involved? It’s not too late, as we still have a couple of slots available. Drop me and Laura a line and we can have a chat – we are always keen to hear what you would like to see in your panel discussions and topical debates.
