RILM (Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale)
The RILM subscription service publishes a comprehensive bibliography of writings on music serving the global music research community with over 875,000 records in 143 languages from 178 countries. RILM’s International Center is housed at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City.
RILM has an international network of partner institutions who supply bibliographic citations and abstracts for items published in their respective countries to the International Center, where they are translated, edited, and indexed before adding to the online database. RILM is sponsored under the auspices of three international professional associations: IAML, IMS (International Musicological Society) and ICTS (International Council for Traditional Music).
The RILM UK office is based at the University of Nottingham.
The RILM Ireland office is based at the Research Foundation for Music in Ireland.
The RILM International Center is based in New York City.
