Who we represent
IAML – the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres – was established in 1952 and represents:
- Music libraries and librarians
- Music archives and archivists
- Music documentation centres
- Broadcasting authorities
- Music library users
- Musicians
- Orchestral, opera & theatre librarians
- Music trade
IAML (UK & Ireland) is a national Branch of the international association and represents members in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. There are four categories of Branch membership:
- Personal national – for individuals
- Personal international – for individuals
- Institutional national – for libraries, archives, etc.
- Institutional international – for libraries, archives, etc.
