Branch publications

Brio – the journal of the IAML (UK & Irl) Branch – is published both in print and online and is available as a benefit only to members of the Branch. Selective indexes by author and by title, together with a list of contents of all issues published to date are open only to logged-in members, as are the issues themselves. Brio is abstracted in Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA) and RILM Abstracts, and indexed in The Music Index and The International Index of Music Periodicals.

The Branch blog carries news of people and events, and supersedes the Branch Newsletter which ceased publication with the August 2017 issue.

For those who are interested in a career in music librarianship, the Branch’s Courses & Education Committee produced Working with music in libraries (1997 & 2002). This is available as a free download here (with original images omitted).

The Annual Report of the Branch is published in the first quarter of each year.

IAML international publications
